Custom Medical Prescription Pads in Guadalajara: A Guide for Your Practice
If you run a practice in Guadalajara, Zapopan, or anywhere in Jalisco, the prescription pad you use every day is also part of your practice's image. A generic one bought at any stationery store doesn't communicate the same thing as one with your letterhead, your license number, and your practice's own design. What goes on your letterhead
A medical prescription pad's letterhead usually includes: full name, specialty, professional license number (and specialty license, if applicable), and your practice's contact details: address, phone, and, if you want, office hours.
If you share a practice with other specialists or work out of more than one location, it's common to use a separate letterhead per location instead of trying to fit everything onto one: it looks cleaner and avoids confusing the patient.
Size and paper: what's standard in Mexico
The most commonly used size for medical prescription pads in Mexico is 14 × 21.5 cm, on white paper: it's what we use at Yume by default. It's a practical size: it fits in any folder or file without folding and is comfortable to write on by hand.
If your practice handles prescriptions for specific procedures (for example, with a folio number or barcode for some institution), mention it when requesting a quote: that's information that needs to be confirmed before printing, not something to improvise afterward.
The process: from quote to prescription pad in hand
The process doesn't change whether you're in Guadalajara or any other city in Mexico, because the whole design gets approved remotely before printing: you request a quote via WhatsApp or from the online shop, send us your details (or your logo, if you already have one), we send you a digital proof of the letterhead, and only once you approve it does it go to production.
That approval step is what prevents the most common mistake when customizing stationery: sending something to print without having seen the final design, and finding a typo in the license number or phone number only after all 100 sheets are already printed.
